Prijsvrij D-reizen Group has appointed Dimitri Joannides as Manager of Sports & Incentives, effective April 14, 2026. This appointment marks a significant move by the organization to further develop and expand its specialized sports travel operations. In this new capacity, Joannides will focus on establishing and strengthening strategic partnerships with both national and international sports organizations.
Joannides joins the group with over seventeen years of experience in the travel industry. Most recently, he served at TUI until the end of 2025, where he held the positions of Head of Sales Support and Channel Manager for Retail Partners. During his tenure there, he played a central role in managing commercial collaborations within the retail sector. His professional background also includes several years of experience at Martinair.
Marc van Deursen, CEO of Prijsvrij D-reizen Group, expressed confidence in the new hire, noting that Joannides possesses a deep understanding of the industry and the expertise required to build long-term, sustainable partnerships.
