The POCO F9 Ultra and POCO F9 Pro set new standards for mobile gamers, featuring unprecedented display quality, battery performance, and camera capabilities. For this launch, POCO partnered with audio brand Bose to deliver a crystal-clear, immersive audio experience.

A Next-Generation Gaming Experience The POCO F9 Ultra and POCO F9 Pro raise the bar for all-round flagship devices in the industry. Built on Qualcomm’s latest platforms, both models deliver high speeds for multitasking, heavy workloads, and gaming. The top-tier POCO F9 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, achieving an AnTuTu score of 4,165,108¹—the highest score ever recorded on a POCO device.
For visual processing, both devices feature the VisionBoost D8 chip, enabling a Smart frame rate² of 185 FPS³. Smart frame rate and AI Super resolution⁴ can run simultaneously to ensure smooth motion and sharp details during gameplay. The POCO F9 Ultra also offers up to 1 TB⁵ of storage.
POCO’s proprietary WildBoost Engine enhances performance further. Compared to 120 FPS, the 185 FPS³ capability delivers 65 additional frames per second and reduces the refresh interval by 3ms, allowing for faster response times in game. The 185 FPS³ mode is natively supported in over 20 titles.⁶ Additional features include Game Color Enhancement⁷, an instant touch sampling rate of 4,800 Hz⁸, a 10-point touch sampling rate of 480 Hz⁹, and a 200 Hz gyro sampling rate¹⁰. Thermal management is handled by the POCO 3D IceLoop cooling system to maintain safe operating temperatures under continuous load.
Display and Design The POCO F9 Ultra features a 6.9-inch 185Hz POCO HyperRGB AMOLED display¹¹¹², while the POCO F9 Pro offers the same specifications in a 6.59-inch form factor. Both models incorporate M11 luminescent material, achieving a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, and up to 10,000 nits for HDR content¹³, allowing for visibility in direct sunlight.
The series includes Xiaomi Vision Care technology, which holds the TÜV Rheinland Quadruple Eye Care certification¹⁴ to reduce eye strain during extended use.
On the exterior, the POCO F9 Ultra features dynamic rear lighting that shifts colors for incoming calls, notifications, gaming, and music playback. The Aurora Green variant of the POCO F9 Pro introduces a phosphorescent back panel¹⁵ that glows in the dark after exposure to ambient light,¹⁶ allowing users to temporarily draw custom patterns on the surface using a blue-violet laser pointer.¹⁷
