Club Med is ramping up its international growth with the announcement of three major new resort projects, underscoring its long-term strategic ambitions. The expansion includes the brand’s first-ever resort in South Africa, its first eco-designed property in Asia located on the island of Borneo, Malaysia, and the redevelopment of the Carambola Beach Resort on Saint Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Led by Chairman Stéphane Macquaire, the holiday group aims to expand its global portfolio to 100 resorts by 2035. The growth strategy heavily prioritizes high-potential destinations while elevating its Premium and Exclusive Collection offerings.
According to the group, these development projects align with Club Med’s commitment to delivering immersive, sustainable, and locally integrated travel experiences.
