Aeromexico will expand its European footprint in March 2027 with the launch of a new direct service between Mexico City International Airport (MEX) and Milan, Italy.
The upcoming route creates a direct transatlantic connection between Mexico and the capital of Lombardy, bypassing traditional European transfer hubs. According to the Mexican flag carrier, the nonstop flight is designed to capture rising demand across both corporate and leisure travel segments.
Milan marks the latest addition to Aeromexico’s European route network, which already includes direct connections to Madrid, London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, and Amsterdam Schiphol. By establishing a direct link to northern Italy, the carrier aims to streamline travel itineraries for passengers traveling between Latin America and one of Europe’s primary commercial and financial centers.
Detailed flight schedules, frequencies, and aircraft deployment for the new service are expected to be announced closer to the launch date.
