Xiaomi has announced the release of the REDMI 17 series in the Netherlands and Belgium. Designed for users prioritizing extended battery life and functional performance at a competitive price point, the REDMI 17 and REDMI 17 5G feature a 7,500 mAh battery, a 6.9-inch display, and a 50MP AI dual camera setup.
Extended Battery Life and Power Sharing
The core feature of both models is the 7,500 mAh battery. According to Xiaomi, a full charge on the standard REDMI 17 provides up to 28 hours of video playback, 91 hours of audio, or 46 hours of talk time. The REDMI 17 5G extends this performance up to 109 hours of Bluetooth audio and 53 hours of call time.
Both devices support 45W turbo charging as well as 22.5W wired reverse charging, enabling the phone to act as a power bank for secondary devices while traveling or working on the go.
Hardware and Display Specifications
The 6.9-inch adaptive refresh rate display scales between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz depending on content usage. It features triple TÜV Rheinland eye-comfort certification, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and IP64 dust and splash protection.
The structural design includes a flat screen, a matte metal chassis, and a dynamic RGB light system that indicates incoming calls, notifications, and charging status.
