‘TRVL FSTVL a tremendous success’

The third edition of TRVL FSTVL has turned out to be a tremendous success, according to organisers Sigrid Scheffer and Michelle Hulsman from TravelMarketing. Beyond the festivities, the event also highlighted a meaningful cause: Pink Ribbon. ‘Thanks to the generosity of attendees, over €900 was raised to support research and improved care facilities.’

The MICE Event in Amsterdam was a hit. ‘We were lucky to be blessed with perfect weather, which only added to the vibrant atmosphere. Held at the scenic LIEF Amsterdam, the event welcomed over 20 DMCs from around the world who showcased their destinations and services. More than 80 top buyers from the Dutch and Belgian MICE markets were invited to connect with the valued DMC-network and partners.’

The event kicked off with an inspiring opening speech by TravelMarketing founders Sigrid Scheffer and Michelle Hulsman, followed by an energizing performance from comedian Rogier Bak—who certainly knew how to wake up the crowd. The day was filled with dynamic one-on-one meetings, interspersed with lively entertainment. A fantastic brass band delivered a surprise intermezzo, while DJ Choral kept the mood upbeat throughout the day with her signature tunes, accompanied by a talented saxophone player.’

‘Adding to the sensory experience, oystermen served exquisite Irish oysters paired with a refreshing shot of gin. Attendees also took part in the exciting TRVL HUNT, a fun and interactive game where buyers answered questions at various DMC stands for a chance to win amazing prizes—generously sponsored by the exhibitors. As the sun set, the music turned more danceable, the cocktails flowed, and a delicious dinner was served, ensuring no one left hungry.’
