Travelmediate teams up with Transcend Cruises

Travelmediate has struck a partnership with Transcend Cruises. The collaboration brings tailor-made river cruise experiences designed exclusively for corporate groups and multi-day events.

“With their strong focus on B2B charters and ships built specifically for meetings and events, Transcend Cruises is the ideal partner to offer hosted buyers, planners, and companies something truly exceptional,” says Raymon Honings, Managing Director at Travelmediate.

Transcend Cruises is the first river cruise line worldwide dedicated solely to MICE and group charter travel. Its ships, accommodating 30 to 120 guests in identical cabins that convert into suites, give organizers full flexibility. Everything from routes and docking times to catering, AV technology and branding can be customized.

Two new vessels, Transcend Connect and Transcend Evolve, are under construction at Den Breejen Shipyard in the Netherlands, with design by Tillberg Design of Sweden. The first is expected to launch in spring 2026.

For Travelmediate, which already works with 32 international DMCs and MICE professionals, the addition of Transcend strengthens its ability to offer high-impact, sustainable group experiences. “What appeals to us most is Transcend’s commitment to smart sustainability, from low-emission engines to local sourcing and staffing. That matches the rising demand for meaningful travel with a strong sense of responsibility,” Honings adds.

Hans Rood, CEO of Transcend Cruises, highlights the importance of the Benelux market: “This collaboration fits perfectly with our mission to inspire MICE organizations with flexible, bespoke experiences. We want to help planners and companies bring their brand stories to life on Europe’s waterways.”

By combining exclusive charters, fully white-label branding, advanced onboard facilities, and a sustainability-first approach, Transcend Cruises and Travelmediate aim to position themselves as true gamechangers for the Benelux MICE sector.
