Thailand’s national carrier is officially returning to Schiphol Airport. Thai Airways has confirmed to TravMagazine that its direct service between Amsterdam and Bangkok will resume operations starting July 1, 2026.
The airline has committed to a daily frequency, providing a significant boost to one of the most popular long-haul routes from the Netherlands. This comeback is expected to relieve pressure on the high-demand corridor, offering the Dutch travel industry and passengers more flexibility and choice.
Flight Schedule and Aircraft
Thai Airways will deploy the Airbus A350-900 for this route, a modern aircraft known for its fuel efficiency and passenger comfort. The scheduled flight times are as follows:

Departure Amsterdam (AMS): 14:00 (2:00 PM) – Arriving in Bangkok at 06:20 local time the following morning.

Departure Bangkok (BKK): 04:30 AM – Arriving at Schiphol at 11:15 AM.
Booking Availability
The official restart ends months of industry speculation. Travel agents and passengers can expect the flights to appear in global distribution systems by mid-February.
According to the airline, booking modules and sales channels are set to go live on Thursday, February 13, 2026.
