KLM announces new and updated routes for summer 2026

This summer season, from March 29 through October 25, 2026, KLM will offer a schedule with 164 destinations worldwide, including 96 in Europe and 68 intercontinental destinations. This provides plenty of options for both holidaymakers and business travelers.

Growth and new destinations

Compared to last year, the total number of seats is expected to grow by about 5%. This is the result of an expected increase of approximately 6% for European destinations and 4% for intercontinental destinations. Starting this summer, passengers can choose some new destinations for the first time: Jersey, Santiago de Compostela, and Oviedo. These three new European destinations offer travelers even more choice within KLM’s extensive network.

More frequent flights to popular destinations

Within Europe, KLM is offering more flights to popular destinations this summer. For example, Cagliari will be served daily throughout the summer, and frequencies to Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Ljubljana, and Cork will be increased.

KLM will also operate more flights to several intercontinental destinations this summer. There will be extra flights to Cape Town at the start of the season, and KLM will offer daily service to Portland throughout the summer. San Diego, Miami, and Hyderabad will be available for the first time during the entire summer season. Additionally, San José will now be offered as a summer destination for the first time.
