Hilton again named Best Workplace in The Netherlands

Hilton has once again been named the No. 1 Best Workplace in the Netherlands by Great Place To Work®. This marks the second consecutive year the global hospitality leader has secured the top spot on the prestigious list, recognizing the consistently positive experiences of Hilton team members across the country and the company’s long-term commitment to fostering an award-winning workplace culture grounded in inclusion, well-being, personal growth, and purpose.

Hilton is celebrating this recognition as a milestone in its history in the Netherlands. Alessio Colavecchio, Area General Manager for the Netherlands at Hilton, commented:
“Being recognized as the No. 1 Best Workplace in the Netherlands by Great Place To Work is a wonderful acknowledgment of the dedication shown by our teams in Hilton hotels across the country every day. We deeply value a culture where team members feel engaged, appreciated, and inspired. This didn’t happen overnight – it’s the result of passion, strategic focus, and perseverance. It allows us to deliver hospitality not just to our guests, but to our team members as well. Achieving this together for the second year in a row makes it all the more special.”

The award is based on direct feedback from team members working in Hilton hotels throughout the Netherlands, highlighting the company’s commitment to a strong workplace culture built on well-being, meaningful work, personal development, and inclusivity.

Rowena Vermolen-Lodder, Director of Human Resources for Hilton Netherlands, added:
“This award recognizes our shared commitment and culture — one where we appreciate each other, where friendships are formed, and where quality comes first. It’s also a culture that helps our team members grow — both professionally and personally. And that’s something we work on every single day.”

Floris Licht, General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, said:
“We are incredibly proud of this recognition as the No. 1 Best Workplace in the Netherlands. In our hotels, we are committed every day to supporting our team members through initiatives focused on well-being, development, and creating a joyful work environment. This award is a great acknowledgment of our collective efforts.”

Hilton’s people-centered culture supports the careers of nearly half a million team members globally in diverse roles ranging from front desk and food & beverage to technology, engineering, finance, and sales. Hilton is a place where many start with a job and stay for a career, forming meaningful connections and thriving in a purpose-driven environment.
