Accor has signed a franchise agreement with businessman and casino owner Phil Ruffin to bring Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino into its Handwritten Collection portfolio. The 2,884-room resort, overlooking the city’s premier racing circuit, will officially join the brand later this year, becoming the largest Accor hotel worldwide and the second Handwritten Collection property in the United States, after Hotel Stratford San Francisco.
Camil Yazbeck, Accor’s Global Chief Development Officer, called the partnership “a one-of-a-kind guest journey” that blends Treasure Island’s legacy with the brand’s curated style. Ruffin said the move would “enrich its legacy and attract new generations of guests,” while preserving the resort’s distinctive spirit.
The addition strengthens Accor’s footprint in the Americas, where it operates more than 550 hotels, and connects the Las Vegas property to the ALL Accor loyalty program’s 100+ million members. Guests will have access to brand support, global sales and marketing, and distribution services.
Treasure Island recently underwent a multi-million-dollar refresh, enhancing guestrooms with views of the Strip and Spring Mountains, SensaTIonal™ beds, and upscale amenities. The resort features 10 restaurants, eight lounges and bars, the Oleksandra Spa & Salon, 90,000 square feet of gaming, direct access to Fashion Show Las Vegas, and the long-running Cirque du Soleil production Mystère.
Awarded Four Green Globes® for sustainability, the property is set to offer a blend of Las Vegas energy and Handwritten Collection individuality, positioning itself as a new flagship for Accor in North America.
