Launch of Seven Seas Prestige sets records for Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has achieved its highest-ever booking day following the launch of its newest ship, Seven Seas Prestige. Reservations opened on June 25, 2025, and immediately set a new record, surpassing the previous benchmark — the launch of Seven Seas Splendor in 2018 — by an impressive 26%.

One standout indicator of demand was the Skyview Regent Suite, priced from €22,500 per night, which sold out on six of the thirteen inaugural sailings. This marks the strongest first-day performance for a top-tier suite in the line’s history.

“These results are phenomenal, but frankly not surprising,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer at Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Luxury travelers were clearly eager to secure their suite aboard this extraordinary ship. Seven Seas Prestige is set to usher in a new era for ultra-luxury cruising, and we’re excited to welcome her to our fleet in December 2026. I want to thank our loyal guests, valued travel partners, and our global Regent team for making this achievement possible.”

First New Ship Class in a Decade

Seven Seas Prestige represents the cruise line’s first new ship class in over ten years and signals a bold evolution for Regent. The ship is currently under construction by Fincantieri and is scheduled for delivery in late 2026.

Inaugural Season: Europe, the Caribbean & More

Seven Seas Prestige sets sail on its maiden voyage on December 13, 2026, with a 14-night transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to Miami. The inaugural season features 13 enriching itineraries across the Caribbean and Europe, including:

  • Sunny explorations of the Eastern and Western Caribbean

  • A Panama Canal crossing

  • Voyages departing from Miami, Los Angeles, and New York

  • Cultural journeys along the Iberian Peninsula and French coast, with overnight port stays

Guests can choose from up to 97 included shore excursions per cruise, with calls at intimate ports such as St. Lucia, Cartagena, and Bordeaux.
